Christian Education: St. Andrew strives to provide a variety of opportunities to explore and discover God's Word for all ages. Many programs are offered for Children, Youth, and Adults on Sundays and during the week. Concern Center: An information, support and referral service staffed by volunteers 9:00-11:00 a.m. each weekday. New members of St. Andrew find this a great way to give a day a month and get to know the needs and resources of our congregation. If you have a need or concern, or would just like to talk to someone, call 303-494-8094 and ask for the Concern Center

Community Service: The Board of Deacons leads us in outreach and service ministries such as serving at The Community Table at 1st Christian Church, an interfaith meals program for homeless and needy families. The Deacons Closet, in our building, offers a place to donate clothing and help folks who need it. The Closet is open the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from past Labor Day in September to the 1st Saturday in May.
A unique ministry of St Andrew is the weekly Food Offering taken at each worship service and given to Emergency Family Assistance Association of Boulder. We collect both monetary gifts and non-perishable food at every worship service
We encourage our members to volunteer their time in the community in ministries of justice and compassion, such as Community Food Share, the Boulder County AIDS Project, Habitat for Humanity, United Ministries in Higher Education at the University of Colorado, the Radio Reading Service of the Rockies, and numerous other groups.
Peace and Justice Ministries Each October on the first Sunday of the month we receive the Peacemaking Offering of the Presbyterian Church, USA, 25% of which stays in our local community. Our session (Board of Elders, the governing body of a congregation in the Presbyterian Church) designates a local recipient agency. Past recipients have included the Native American Rights Fund and the Victim Offender Reconciliation Project in Boulder. The balance of the offering goes to support the national and world-wide peacemaking projects of the Presbyterian Church.
CROP Hunger Walk is an annual event in October in which walkers walk a 10km route in the city, sponsored by supporters who pledge per mile, to dramatize and identify with people who have to walk to survive. The proceeds go to hunger projects of Church World Service, unless the donors designate to another hunger agency. The CROP Walk movement began in the early 1970s and was the first "walk" to raise funds in this unique way (many imitators have followed!). Our congregation has been a leader in this effort.
The Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP) is a ministry of restorative justice, bringing together mostly youthful offenders and their victims in a process of mediation and reconciliation. We are one of the first four Sustaining Friend congregations in Boulder to help support this remarkable program. You can volunteer to become a trained mediator. Contact VORP in Boulder or call the church office for information.
Adopt a Minefield is a new initiative in Boulder attempting to do something concrete about the scourge of anti-personnel land mines leftover from past conflicts. The local group has raised enough to clear a mine field in Mozambique. More can be done. Contact the church office for more information on this effort.
