Family Ministries at St. Andrew

We create safe, welcoming spaces where kids can explore big questions, make friends, and discover who they are in Christ. Together with families, we help children grow in kindness, confidence, and faith.

Nursery

Nursery care is available for our youngest children (under 5 years old) every Sunday during the school year starting at 9am.

Children

Open to all children PK-4th grade, Sunday School is a great opportunity for our youngest generation to explore the teachings of the Bible on their level and in fun and engaging ways. Sunday School meets every Sunday during the school year from 9:30-10:15am.

Youth

Youth Group is for students in 5th-12th grade and provides opportunities to build relationships, hear the Word, follow Jesus, and have fun! Youth Group meets every Sunday during the school year from 12-1pm.

Spring Youth and Family Happenings

Sunday School

This spring we will continue to focus on what it means to follow Jesus and be a Christian. Our kids are earning “bead bucks” each time they come to Sunday School and for learning verses. Every few weeks, they can buy prizes with their bead bucks. We’ve also been earning lanyard pins for doing service and acts of kindness. Hope to see you there!

Youth Group

During the spring months, we will be taking a deeper look at some of the “Bible Basics.” What the heck are the Beatitudes? What are the parables of Jesus? Why do we say the Lord’s Prayer? As we learn, we’ll enjoy food, games, crafts, and general chaos. And, of course, we’ll be planning to lead worship on Youth Sunday (April 12th).

March 29th – Palm Sunday! Be sure to join us for the parade of palms!

April 2nd – Maundy Thursday service and dinner @ 5:30pm. Children and youth are invited and encouraged to attend.

April 5th – Easter Sunday Egg Hunt on the lawn at 9:45am.

April 12th – Youth Sunday

May 2nd – TBD Youth Planning Retreat
